Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

IFS

A compassionate path to self-understanding and healing. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a gentle and empowering approach to therapy that helps you understand and heal the different parts of yourself. Developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz, IFS is based on the idea that we all have many inner parts. You might notice a part that feels anxious or self-critical, another that tries to keep everything under control, or a part that carries deep hurt from the past. Each of these parts have a purpose. The intention is always to help but the strategies used may have been effective at one time and are no longer.

Starting IFS Therapy

IFS invites you to approach your inner world with curiosity and compassion, rather than judgment or resistance. Through gentle guidance, you begin to understand the stories and intentions behind each part of you.

As you do, something powerful happens.  The parts that once carried fear, shame, or exhaustion begin to relax. Your natural capacity for calm, confidence and clarity and your core Self, emerges as a steady and compassionate leader within.

From this place of inner balance, you can heal old wounds, reduce emotional reactivity and create meaningful change that extends into your relationships, your body and your daily life.

What to Expect in IFS Therapy

Each session unfolds at your own pace. Together, we explore what is happening inside with care and respect. There is no pressure to change or fix anything quickly. Instead, we focus on creating safety and connection so that your parts feel understood and supported.

Through this process, you may notice a growing sense of inner peace, clarity, and self-compassion. Many people describe feeling lighter, more grounded, and more connected to themselves than ever before.

From this place of inner balance, you can heal old wounds, reduce emotional reactivity, and create meaningful change
